Indigo Scuba Diving Centre in Gordon’s Bay is to feature on South Africa’s latest reality TV series, “Troukoors van ‘n Bachelor” when it airs on Top TV later this month.
“Troukoors van ‘n Bachelor” is about Dewald Visser, a 43 year old bachelor who decides to marry the love of his life. This humorous and light-hearted series shows how the bachelor takes on the duties of the bride-to-be and arranges the entire wedding, from designing the bride’s dress to choosing the wedding cake. Dewald well known for his role as presenter of the popular cooking series Kom Braai.
Instead of having the usual bachelor’s party, adventure-loving Dewald decided to have an “extreme day out” with his best man. As part of his bachelor’s party with a difference, Indigo Scuba took Dewald and his best man scuba diving in Gordon’s Bay and diving with the ragged tooth sharks in the Two Oceans Aquarium.
“I don’t believe you need to have the traditional bachelor’s party,” said Dewald, “Diving with Indigo Scuba and scuba diving with the ragged tooth sharks was an amazing experience – and a lot more fun.”
Indigo Scuba in Gordon’s Bay is owned and run by husband and wife team Deon and Kate Jonker who have shared their love of the ocean and teaching people to become scuba divers since 2000. Indigo Scuba offers fun and relaxed scuba courses, dive charters to the best sites in False Bay, local and international scuba diving holidays and have a fully equipped dive centre and shop on site in Gordon’s Bay.
Troukoors van ‘n Bachelor will be broadcast from 25th February 2013 on ASTV on Top TV and premiers on Thursdays at 19h00. The series can also be viewed on the Troukoors website: www.troukoors.net.
