SSI Scuba Courses

Please note prices are per person.  The SSI course prices include the cost of all required manuals.

Open Water Diver Course – R2 290 plus SSI Registration fee of R230 (if there are 4 or more of you, you each pay R2 140 plus a registration fee of R230 per person)

Specialty Courses (add SSI Registration fee of R220 for each course)
Boat Diving (includes 2 dives)- R1 350
Navigation (includes 2 dives) – R1 350
Night Diving / Limited Visibility (includes 2 dives) – R1 350
Deep Diving (includes 3 dives) – R1 600 (or choose 4 dives for extra experience…)
Deep Diving (includes 4 dives) – R1 850
Wreck Diving (includes 3 dives) – R1 600 (or choose 4 dives for extra experience)
Wreck Diving (4 dives) – R1 850
Search and Recovery (includes 2 dives)- R1 350
Perfect Buoyancy (includes 2 dives) – R1 350
Digital Underwater Photography (includes 2 dives) – R1 350

Advanced Open Water Diver – To qualify as an Advanced Open Water Diver, all you need to do is complete 4 of the above specialty courses and have a minimum of 24 logged dives.  After that, there is no further course that you need to do to become and Advanced Open Water Diver.

Stress and Rescue – R1 950 plus registration fee of R280 – you must have First Aid and CPR and an oxygen providers certificate to do this course.

Master Diver – to qualify as a Master Diver, you do not need to do an additional course, but must have completed 4 of the above speciality courses, completed the Stress and Rescue Course and have 50 logged dives.

Instructor Courses and Cross-Over Courses – Indigo Scuba offers SSI Instructor Courses and cross-over courses of all levels from other agencies to SSI. Please contact us for more details.

Dive Charters /  Guided Dives / Airfills

All dive prices are quoted per person per dive (unless where indicated) and based on a minimum of 4 divers per dive:

Shore Dives:

Gordon’s Bay / Rooi Els:   R160 per person
Simon’s Town / Camps Bay / Hermanus:    R180 per person

Boat Dives:

Simon’s Town / Hout Bay:    R275 per person
Gordon’s Bay to Steenbras River mouth area:    R190 per person
Steenbras Deep:  R290 per person

Cylinder Fills - 10 & 12 Litres – R40 per fill
Cylinder Fill Card - 10 x airfills for 10 & 12 Litre cylinders – R350

Club Membership - Join the Indigo Scuba dive club today and get up to 25% discount on gear rental, up to 10% discount on shore and boat dives, less R5 per cylinder fill and less R50 on an airfill card – R400 for the year

Please note:  Gear is only rented out to divers when accompanied by Indigo Scuba
