The RAID Explorer 30 scuba course is designed to help you improve your skills. Upon completion of the course you will be qualified to dive to depths of 30m. Additionally, it has been designed to increase your understanding of the core areas of diving.
This is a practical course, giving you more time to enjoy the journey and practice your skills. If you have the equivalent of RAID Open Water 20 (e.g. Open Water Diver Course), this is the ideal next course for you!
To sign up for the course, you must be at least 15 years old. You should be a certified RAID Open Water 20 diver or equivalent (i.e. Open Water Diver), and complete RAID registration procedures.
The course includes RAID online e-learning academic presentations, quizzes, exams and practical skills. It is made up of two sections.
Firstly, the academic or theoretical part which can be completed through online course manuals and materials. Secondly, practical training with Indigo Scuba and conducted by a RAID Instructor.
The Raid Explorer 30 scuba course covers a range of topics such as:
- Gaining basic skills to dive in different environments or dive sites.
- Improving buoyancy skills.
- Understanding underwater navigation.
- Planning for deep dives.
- Elective dives based on local environment/interests.
Upon completion, both you and your instructor will acknowledge and accept your open water skills online through the RAID website. Additionally, we will also confirm electronic certification online through the RAID website.
