RAID Deep 40 provides the essential knowledge for safe and stress-free deep dives. Open to any certified diver with a RAID Explorer 30 qualification, this program covers a variety of topics. Gain insights into deep diving history, understand considerations for greater depths, assess risks, explore equipment needs, and learn about specialized gear. Master planning procedures tailored for deep dives and elevate your diving skills.
To enroll in the RAID Deep 40 (Air/Trimix) course, ensure you meet these requirements:
- Be at least 15 years old.
- Log a minimum of 8 hours underwater in an Open Water setting.
- Hold a RAID Explorer 30 Specialty certification or an equivalent from a recognized training agency.
- Be certified as a RAID Nitrox Diver or its equivalent.
The Practical Course Content includes online learning, quizzes, exams, and practical skills. Complete a minimum of 2 hours logged underwater and four open water training dives.
Upon completion, receive certification for unsupervised diving up to 40 meters / 130 feet.
Choose from two options:
- Deep 40 Nitrox/air, allowing Nitrox use up to a maximum PO2 of 1.4.
- Deep 40 Trimix, with specific limits on Oxygen partial pressure (PO2) and END/EAD for Trimix.
